November 15th, 2009We’ve added some new 2009 Holiday Designs and are adding more every week. Remember the deadline for holiday orders is usually around December 4th (for pre-Christmas delivery). However, we will keep accepting orders as long as they keep coming.
We also do custom designs, so if you have something special in mind that you don’t see on our site, just let us know.
Birth Announcement Trends
August 25th, 2009One thing we’ve noticed is that a lot of moms want their baby’s birth announcements to coordinate with their nursery. They’re usually looking for similar colors or a similar theme. This also seems to be the trend with baby shower invitations as well.
That’s why Peadab Designs is constantly looking at what’s hot in the baby bedding world! We love to look at current color combinations as well as new themes that are popular.
Once we get an idea of what’s popular, we go to work designing birth announcements that contain modern color combinations as well as popular themes.
Some of the popular themes right now are: monkeys, giraffes, birds, butterflies, dragonflies, floral motifs, monograms, and damask patterns.
Of course, there are classic designs too, that will never go out of style and can appeal to just about anyone. Those designs include: flowers, Noah’s Ark, Winnie the Pooh, baby carriages, rattles, sailboats, princess and prince, damask, and much more.
So if you’re looking for birth announcements to coordinate with your baby’s bedding or nursery, but can’t quite find what you’re looking for, just let us know! We love to do custom designs and it’s free. You only pay for your birth announcement order, although we do ask for a $25 deposit that will be credited towards your final order. It’s similar to our cancellation fee that we charge in case we start on your design and you cancel your order.

Unveiling our Celebrity Note Card Designs…

Here’s a picture of the note cards Peadab Designs did for some celebrity tots recently. All of the note cards had Swarovski® Crystals added to them for a little extra elegance. The tots who were gifted include: Stella (Tori Spelling’s daughter), Honor (Jessica Alba’s daughter), Suri (Katie Holmes’ daughter), Harlow (Nicole Richie’s daughter), Shiloh and Zahara (Angelina Jolie’s daughters). We hope they like them!
The gift baskets were given to the celebrities by Style Cafe Moms, the premiere provider of luxurious celebrity swag and product placement. We were very excited to have been asked to be a part of this celebrity gifting opportunity.

With every baby shower invitation order we receive, we’re including a $10.00 gift certificate to be used towards future purchases. The gift certificate can be used by our customers for invitations, note cards, holiday cards, etc. or they can simply give the gift certificate to the mom-to-be for her baby’s birth announcements.

New Birth Announcement Designs are Here!
August 5th, 2009Peadab Designs has been hard at work coming up with some fresh, new birth announcement designs. We’re very excited about the new designs. They’re elegant and unique — something we’re always striving for.
The new designs feature floral monogram frames that we haven’t seen anywhere else, backgrounds that have a linen look, damask backgrounds and lots of swirly vines and flowers.
We also plan on adding more animal birth announcements and baby shower invitations since our modern monkey and giraffe designs seem to be so popular these days.
Keep checking back because we add new designs every week. As always though, any of our designs can be changed (colors, fonts etc.) to fit your needs.

We’re Going Green!
July 27th, 2009Peadab Designs is proud to announce that we’re going green. We want to do all we can to protect the environment because we truly care about it, not just because it’s the thing to do. That’s why we’re switching our paper to 100# silk card stock that’s 25% recycled and FSC certified. FSC certification means that the product either comes from recycled material, forest that meet strict environmental and social standards, or a combination of both. Our silk card stock is unbelievably soft and smooth and we know you’ll just love it. We also carry 110# pearl card stock that isn’t recycled, but is wonderful for extra special occasions like birth announcements, baptism invitations or holiday cards. It has a beautiful shimmer to it and gives your announcements and invitations an elegant look.
Our print process is also environmentally friendly. We use a digital press that uses vegetable oil based inks, no toxic chemicals and uses less waste than traditional offset presses.
