Style Cafe Moms has chosen Peadab Designs to include some of our products in their celebrity gift baskets that will be going to some famous celeb tots within the next month or so.

We’ll be designing personalized little girl note cards (with a little bling) for some of Hollywood’s most famous tots.

Stay tuned for pictures of the designs we came up with and the names of the celebs we’ll be gifting!

If there are any moms out there who would like to earn some extra money (and who wouldn’t), we want to hear from you. If you have lots of friends, are outgoing, and want to earn some easy money, we have a great opportunity for you! All you have to do is tell your friends (pregnant or not), neighbors, teachers, or anyone else who might need birth announcements, baby shower invitations, note cards, birthday invitations, religious invitations, etc. about Peadab Designs and our great products. If they place an order with us, we’ll pay you a commission. The more orders you send our way, the higher your commission will be.

In this tough economic climate, we’re trying to think outside the box. With the high cost of magazine advertising and Google AdWords advertising, we thought we’d try something a little different. So, here we are, asking for your help!

I recently designed a baby shower invitation for a customer who wanted something a little different. She chose the Simply Stunning Baby Feet shower invitation, but changed the colors to lavender card stock with sparkly silver baby feet stamp.

It came out adorable and the silver stamp has different colored sparkles in it that shimmer in the light.

We carry some of the most popular baby shower themes around, including: ducks, monkeys, baby carriage, rocking horse, baby giraffe, baby rattles, and elegant swirls! We also recently redesigned our baby duck and we think he’s just adorable. If you have a theme in mind, but don’t see it here, please email us with your request. We love to do custom designs and don’t charge extra as long as you place an order with us.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for on our website, please let us know! We love to do custom designs and we don’t charge anything extra for this service. You can also make changes to any of the designs shown on our website.

We’ll be closed from December 12-16 for a much-needed vacation. Yes, that’s right. We are finally going on our first vacation in 7 years! Hard to believe our last vacation was our honeymoon. But life happens. Marriage, the death of my dad, buying a new house, loss of my job, 2 rounds of in-vitro, getting pregnant, and having a baby with a defective lung… have all put our vacation plans on hold for the last 7 years.

But, we’re very excited to now be taking our son to Disney World for his 4th birthday. We’ll post some pictures here later.

We’ll reopen December 17 for any more last-minute holiday orders for Christmas cards or personalized stationery — they make great gifts!

We’ve extended our holiday deadline to December 8th. (It seems everyone is waiting till the last minute this year). That’s our deadline if you want to guarantee that your recipients will receive your cards before Christmas. We will certainly take them after that, we just can’t guarantee that your cards will be delivered by Christmas. But that’s okay too. We can always change the text to read “Wishing you a Happy New Year”.

Also, we would love to get some feedback on how we can improve our service. Do you want to see different designs, different sizes, etc.? Please let us know!

We’ve been adding a lot more holiday designs, plus we just lowered our prices on all our holiday cards. We know everyone is cutting back on spending right now, but holiday cards are a relatively inexpensive treat to send to family and friends.

Please remember, all of our designs can be modified (changing colors, fonts, adding more photos, etc.). Plus, we love to do custom designs. If you don’t see something you like, let us know and we’ll do our best to come up with a beautiful design for you — no extra charge.

I know it’s been a while since I’ve last written in my blog, but I’ve been here all along working hard to get new designs up along with a new look to the website. I’ve tried to make PeadabDesigns.com as user friendly as possible so please let me know if anyone has any suggestions!

I also included instructions on the ordering pages on how to pay through PayPal, which has confused some people in the past. Let me just say again, you do not need an account with PayPal to order. You simply click on the “continue” button near the credit card logos on the left side of the page and enter your payment information there.

Another change I made recently is that I’ve decided to allow customers to order invitations and announcements in any quantity rather than in multiples of 25 as I previously did (and as most other online birth announcement companies do). I know how tough the economy has been on everyone and I want to make it easier for people to order custom announcements and invitations from us.

If you ordered from us in the past and were happy with your purchase, I hope you will pass on our name to your family and friends. Til next time…
